EFCC Warns Nigerians Against Online Shopping

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has warned the general public against online shopping, especially those without names and fixed addresses.


PUBLIC NOTICE!

“The general publics are warned to be circumspect of on-line shopping; especially where such shops have no fixed addresses and the advertiser lures unsuspecting buyer to deposit money before delivery.

In most cases, beautifully attractive and irresistible products like shoes, dresses and electronics are on display. It could just be another form of scam.”
